Steven Kwan has scored six times through the team’s first three games, becoming just the sixth player to achieve that feat.

Steven Kwan won his second Gold Glove in 2023, just his second year in the majors. He joined Ichiro Suzuki and Nolan Arenado as the only players to win a Gold Glove in each of their first two seasons in the majors. Both Ichiro and Arenado would win 10 consecutive Gold Gloves to start their careers.
In just his 12th career game, Brayan Rocchio was inserted into the leadoff spot on Thursday and went 2-4 with 2 RBI.

It was his fifth career four-hit game from the leadoff spot, tying him for fifth place in franchise history. The leadoff hitters ahead of him are:

Amed Rosario also had four hits from the No. 2 spot in the order. It was the 11th time in franchise history the leadoff hitter and No. 2 hitter each collected four hits.
The two previous most recent occurrences were both Lofton and Omar Vizquel in 2001 and 1996.
The only other duo to accomplish the feat twice was Jamieson and Homer Summa, both in 1923.
Steven Kwan went 2-4 with 5 RBI against the Mariners on Friday night. It was his second career 5-RBI game, making him the fourth player in franchise history with multiple 5-RBI games from the leadoff spot.

Steven Kwan went 5-11 with the bases loaded last season, with a two singles, a double, triple and grand slam. He’s the 10th player in franchise history to hit for the cycle with the bases loaded in a single season.

Steven Kwan is the third rookie in franchise history with a postseason home run, joining Oscar Gonzalez (earlier this postseason vs Rays) and Asdrubal Cabrera (2007 against the Yankees).
