In Sunday’s loss to the Twins, went 4-4 with two run scored while batting ninth.

It was just the ninth time someone collected four hits from the nine-hole at home since Jacobs Field opened in 1994.

The others:

Rocchio and Asdrubal were the only ones to do so in a losing effort.

The last to so home or away was in Kansas City in 2019.

On Sunday against the A’s, collected three hits and a home run while filling in for as the leadoff hitter. He’s the third different leadoff hitter to collect three hits including a homer this year, joining Kwan (twice) and .

It’s the 10th season in team history in which three or more different leadoff hitters have accomplished the feat. The others:

Angel Martinez collected two hits today against the White Sox. He’s played in just three games and already has two career multi-hit games.

He’s just the 23rd player in team history with multiple multi-hit games within his first three games. Only Riggs Stevenson in 1921 accomplished the feat in all three games.
