The Guardians hit six home runs in Sunday’s win over the Reds by five different players.

It was just the sixth time since moving into Jacobs Field in 1994 that the team had five different players homer in the same game:

Ramirez Reaches 20 SB

In Saturday’s game against the Reds, stole his 19th and 20th bases of the season in just his 47 game.

It’s the eighth fewest games to 20 steals in team history and only three other individuals have done it faster.

At age 33, Ramirez is easily the oldest of the group. The previous team record for most stolen bases through 47 games by a player age 33 or older was just 8 by in 2018.

Ramirez is also just the 15th player in MLB history to reach 20 stolen bases in 47 games or fewer. The most recent to do so:

David Fry ASG RBI

David Fry tied the All-Star Game up 3-3 with an RBI single in the third inning off Logan Webb. It was Cleveland’s first tying or go-ahead RBI in the All-Star game in over 20 years.

Steven Kwan Batting Leadoff

Steven Kwan will be the leadoff hitter for the American League in this year’s All-Star Game. He’s the sixth different Cleveland hitter to bat leadoff in the game.

The others:

Kwan will face Pirates rookie Paul Skenes in the first inning. The last time a rookie started the All-Star Game was in 1995, when Hideo Nomo struck out Kenny Lofton to start the game. was the number-two hitter that year and followed up with a hit.

Steven Kwan Enters ASG with .352 BA

Steven Kwan enters the All-Star Break batting .352, just the 10th qualified player in franchise history to enter the break with an average over .350.

Here are the highest averages entering the break in franchise history:

Everyone on the list made the All-Star team except Knickerbocker, who was left off in favor of Hall of Famer Joe Cronin, the only shortstop selected to the game that year. Cronin was batting .283 with a .354 OBP.

Bo Naylor Pinch-Hit HR

Today, for just the third time in Jacobs Field history, a Cleveland pinch-hitter came to the plate with the team trailing and hit a home run to give them the lead.
