In the Guardians ninth game of the year, completed exactly six innings of work against the Angels, the deepest into a game the team’s starting pitcher has lasted this season.

It’s just the second time the team had gone at least eight games into a year without a starter working at least six innings. In 2022, it took until the 10th games when finally completed six innings of work.
